Job summary

Magellan Aerospace Corporation is seeking an HR Generalist to manage end-to-end recruitment and support broader HR functions at the Rockwood, MB site. You will handle postings, shortlisting, interviews, offer letters, onboarding, and documentation, while partnering with managers on staffing needs.

The role requires a post-secondary HR degree and at least 3 years of recruitment experience. Strong communication, organization, and MS Office skills are essential, with on-site work at the Rockwood

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in human resources or a related field.
• 3 years’ experience in human resources and/or recruitment.
• Experience with SAP Success Factors or other ATS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• The ability to commute to our Rockwood Plant in Rockwood, MB (20 km north of Winnipeg).

Responsibilities

• Full recruitment cycle including developing postings, shortlisting, pre-screening, interviewing, reference checks, offers and onboarding.
• Support active sourcing initiatives and collaborate with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs.
• Attend career fairs and other recruitment events.
• Complete accurate data entry in HRIS system.
• Generate company reports and ad hoc reports.
• Support other HR activities and goals.

Position Summary

The HR Generalist will be involved in all activities related to recruitment as well as supporting other human resources functions as needed.

• Full recruitment cycle including: developing postings; shortlisting; pre-screening; scheduling and conducting interviews; completing reference checks; preparing and issuing offer letters and decline letters; onboarding and managing new hire documentation, etc.
• Supporting active sourcing initiatives and collaborate with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs
• Attending career fairs and other recruitment events
• Completing accurate and timely data entry in HRIS system
• Generating company reports and developing ad hoc reports
• Other duties as required to accomplish overall Human Resources Department goals and objectives

Position Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in human resources or a related field
• 3 years’ experience in human resources and/or recruitment
• Experience with SAP Success Factors or other ATS considered an asset
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
• The ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Strong working knowledge of and experience with office software (i.e. Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• The ability to commute to our Rockwood Plant in Rockwood, MB (20 km north of Winnipeg)
