Job summary

Magellan Aerospace is seeking a HR Generalist to support recruitment and other human resources functions. You will manage the full recruitment cycle—from postings and shortlisting to interviewing, reference checks, offers, onboarding, and new hire documentation.

Further duties include active sourcing with hiring managers, career fairs, HRIS data entry, and ad hoc reporting. Requires a post-secondary HR degree and 3 years' HR/recruitment experience; SAP SuccessFactors is an asset.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in human resources or a related field.
• 3 years' experience in human resources and/or recruitment.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other ATS is an asset.

Position Summary

The HR Generalist will be involved in all activities related to recruitment as well as supporting other human resources functions as needed.

Essential Responsibilities

• Full recruitment cycle including: developing postings; shortlisting; pre-screening; scheduling and conducting interviews; completing reference checks; preparing and issuing offer letters and decline letters; onboarding and managing new hire documentation, etc.
• Supporting active sourcing initiatives and collaborate with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs
• Attending career fairs and other recruitment events
• Completing accurate and timely data entry in HRIS system
• Generating company reports and developing ad hoc reports
• Other duties as required to accomplish overall Human Resources Department goals and objectives

Position Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in human resources or a related field
• 3 years' experience in human resources and/or recruitment
• Experience with SAP Success Factors or other ATS considered an asset
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
• The ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Strong working knowledge of and experience with office software (i.e. Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• The ability to commute to our Rockwood Plant in Rockwood, MB (20 km north of Winnipeg)
