Magellan Aerospace has an exciting full-time, permanent Stores Worker opportunity at the Rockwood Propellant Plant near Stony Mountain, Manitoba. The role may require shift work and could be unionized, with potential weekend hours.

You will handle vendor docs, ship products, manage inventories, and operate material handling equipment while maintaining required certifications. A background in packaging and CINCOM transactions is favored, with relevant licensing as needed.

Job Summary

Magellan Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time permanent Stores Worker at our Rockwood Propellant Plant near Stony Mountain, Manitoba (about a half-hour North of Winnipeg). This position will be unionized and may require shift work (potentially including weekends).

Essential Requirements

• Receives and reviews vendor documentation and ships Company and Customer products in accordance with shop order or shipping instructions as well as established inventory and record keeping procedures, including the usage of Magellan computer systems.
• Stores, inventories, issues and packs Company and Customer products in accordance with shop order instructions and established clerical and record keeping procedures.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Operates vehicles as required inside and outside of the Company’s premises, such as forklifts and trucks, and must be licensed as required.
• Obtains and maintains all necessary certifications appropriate to the classification

Position Requirments

• Must be able to work under tight time constraints.
• Must have general knowledge of Material Handling Equipment.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have general knowledge of computer / office equipment.
• Preference will be given to those with packaging experience.
• Preference will be given to those knowledgeable in CINCOM transactions and shop order closing.
