Dayforce is seeking an HR Delivery Partner, Tier 2, to serve as the North America HR contact for country- or region-specific inquiries across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. You will ensure policy compliance and deliver high-quality HR service while supporting cross-border operations.

You will handle routine employee relations, support investigations, and assist in performance management, policy interpretation, and HR program delivery across NA with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years HR generalist or specialist experience in North America.
  • Experience handling employee relations, investigations, and policy interpretation.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, laws, and compliance across NA.
  • Proficient in data analysis and HR reporting (Excel/Power BI).
  • Experience with Dayforce or another HCM platform is a plus.

About the Opportunity

The HR Delivery Partner (HRDP), Tier 2 HR Support – North America serves as the operational HR contact for cases and processes requiring regional or country-specific expertise across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. You will provide expert-level support to employees, managers, and leaders while handling escalations from Tier 1 or Centers of Excellence (COE).

This role bridges strategic HR initiatives and the employee experience by ensuring policy compliance and delivering consistent, high-quality HR service delivery. You will also support cross-border business operations within North America while navigating federal, state, and provincial employment laws to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.

What You'll Get to Do
Operational HR Support
  • Serve as the primary Tier 2 contact for employee and manager inquiries requiring country- or region-specific HR expertise across North America.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation on HR policies, programs, and practices to ensure consistent application.
  • Manage basic employee relations cases, working with managers, Legal, and COEs to ensure proper documentation, communication, and resolution.
  • Conduct intake sessions and participate in employee investigations as directed by Employee Relations.
Performance & Employee Relations
  • Lead and coordinate performance improvement plans, including supporting leaders through documentation and follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Support involuntary terminations, exit interviews, and offboarding processes in collaboration with HR Business Partners and COEs.
  • Provide advice to managers and employees on performance expectations, policy adherence, and workforce transitions.
Compliance & Process Delivery
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and audit requirements across North America.
  • Assist in delivering HR programs and initiatives, including training and policy implementations.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and document process enhancements that streamline HR operations and improve employee experience.
  • Contribute to knowledge base development for Tier 1 teams, ensuring efficient case management and consistent communication.
  • Partner with peers and leaders to standardize best practices while maintaining flexibility for regional requirements.
Skills and Experience We Value
  • HR Generalist or Specialist experience supporting front-line employee solution areas within North America: 3 to 5 years for single-country support and 4 to 7 years for multiple-country support.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and HR operations, with experience handling employee relations, performance management, investigations, and policy interpretation.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, case management tools, and service delivery models.
  • Strong Excel and Power BI reporting skills for HR data analysis and compliance tracking.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
