PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking an HR Coordinator to support HR operations across multiple project teams. You will handle onboarding, employee records, training coordination, and workforce administration, reporting to the HR Lead.
The role requires 3–5 years of HR experience in construction or project-based environments, knowledge of Ontario employment laws, and strong communication.
PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners. Together, we are delivering Accelerator, a major program of Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals), Toronto Pearson's infrastructure development plan. This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canada’s largest airport for the future of air travel—including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.
The HR Coordinator will support the successful delivery of the Pearson Accelerator Construction Team (PACT) program by providing human resources, employee relations, onboarding, training, and workforce administration support across multiple project teams and partner organizations. Reporting to the HR Lead, this role will work closely with project leadership, Health & Safety, and employees to ensure a positive employee experience while supporting compliance, workforce planning, reporting, and talent initiatives.
The position will be based at our office in Mississauga, Ontario, with visits to Toronto Pearson Airport and project sites as required.
The work schedule is generally Monday to Friday during regular business hours. Operational requirements may occasionally require flexibility outside of normal working hours.
It is mandatory for all employees to complete a Criminal Background check and successfully attain a Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC) upon joining the company.
