Job summary

The University of British Columbia – Faculty of Medicine seeks an HR Coordinator in Client Services to manage HR activities across FoM units, schools and centres. You will provide guidance on appointments for faculty, staff and students, ensuring alignment with policies and collective agreements.

You will work with FoM leadership, HR teams, payroll and other units to deliver HR services, support equity initiatives, and coordinate personnel records and reporting with a focus on confidentiality

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Willingness to respect diverse perspectives and commit to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to apply collective agreements, policies and procedures with tact and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and supports HR best practices and strategic objectives.
• Advises on HR activities for faculty, staff and students across FoM units.
• Manages full employee life cycle for non-tenure faculty and staff, including recruitment and onboarding.
