Elevate your career by taking on a pivotal role as the Housing Manager at EF International Language Campus, Vancouver. If you are an experienced professional with a sales background and robust management skills, this is your chance to shape the logistics of our student accommodation services, ensuring a true "home away from home" experience for our international students.

EF International Language Campus in Vancouver is seeking a dynamic, organized, and customer service-minded Housing Manager to lead our Housing Department. The position requires managing external residences, recruiting and retaining host families, and working closely with students and their accommodations to ensure a successful experience for all parties. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a true problem solver, capable of meeting the varying needs of students, host families, and residences, while handling administrative duties.

The successful candidate will report to the School Director and oversee student welfare, including housing, discipline, and administration. Excellent communication skills are essential to liaise with our global sales offices, motivate the housing team, and develop systems to manage a new school and drive improvements.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure high levels of customer service to students, host families, and community members.
  2. Manage student residences to ensure safety and satisfaction, resolve conflicts, and enforce disciplinary procedures.
  3. Lead a team of Residence Advisors living at the student residence.
  4. Maintain positive relations with external vendors and residence management teams.
  5. Coordinate with EF colleagues worldwide for quality assurance and issue resolution.
  6. Handle administrative tasks efficiently.
  7. Manage host family payments accurately and timely.
  8. Communicate daily with students, advisors, and host families to address issues and help students adapt.
  9. Collaborate with the Housing Department to recruit host families and place students.
  10. Implement innovative techniques to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards.
  11. Lead and manage the team through meetings, agendas, and driving improvements.
  12. This is a full-time position requiring some weekend and after-hours work during peak times.

- Salary range: $46,000-$48,000 per year
- Start date: June 9, 2025
