About the Job

Ensures inventory levels on the guest room floors for Room Attendants, maintains the public areas of the hotel, and responds to guest requests via radio or other telecommunications devices.

• Availability: Full Time, Regular

Starting wage is CA$20.23 during probation, increasing to CA$25.29 after probation, and further to CA$26.04 after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year cleaning experience in a hotel or related industry
• Effective communication with guests, employees, and management
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

Daily Tasks

• Maintain all public areas, cleaning furniture, floors, fixtures, and waste receptacles
• Clean entrance areas, washrooms, and guest rooms, including sinks, fixtures, and surfaces
• Collect and dispose of garbage, dust, and wipe surfaces
• Clean administrative offices, polish surfaces, vacuum, and steam clean carpets
• Respond to radio requests, maintain inventory, and perform other tasks as assigned
