Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises is hiring a Houseperson in Barrie, Ontario. You will support housekeeping by stocking, cleaning public areas, transporting linens and delivering guest items to ensure a guest-ready environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with room setups, and reporting maintenance concerns. A background in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Maintains cleanliness to brand standards and safety.
• Ability to work independently and support team operations.
• Comfort with lifting and moving supplies and equipment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

We are hiring a Houseperson!

As a Houseperson, you play an essential role behind the scenes—supporting the team by stripping and transporting linens, delivering supplies, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment for every stay.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain public areas (lobby, hallways, restrooms, stairwells) to brand standards.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing).

• Transport clean linen to floors and collect soiled linen for laundry processing.

• Restock housekeeping closets, carts, and supplies throughout the shift.

• Deliver guest-requested items (rollaway, cribs, towels, amenities) promptly.

• Assist Room Attendants with heavy tasks (linen removal, furniture movement, setup needs).

• Monitor cleanliness and safety of assigned areas; report maintenance concerns.

• Support additional housekeeping or setup tasks as needed to meet operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.

• Ability to work independently and support team operations.

• Physical ability to lift, push, and move supplies and equipment throughout shift.

• Strong time-management and organizational skills.

• Basic communication skills with a guest-service mindset.

• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
