Job summary

Residence Inn Toronto Mississauga Southwest is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee room and public area attendants and ensure guest-ready standards at our Mississauga hotel. This role emphasizes leadership, training, and maintaining high cleanliness standards in a busy hospitality environment.

The position requires 1–2 years of housekeeping experience, fluent English, and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years housekeeping experience.
• Must speak fluent English.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect the work of assigned room and/or public area attendants to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to hotel guests according to hotel and company business objectives.
• Assist with scheduling and room assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Monitor performance and recommend disciplinary action per company rules and policies.
• Ensure all staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipment to effectively carry out their duties.
• Inspect all assigned areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
