Job summary

Germain Hôtels, in partnership with GDI Services Quebec City Office, is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant/Supervisor to join a dynamic team and uphold the region’s renowned cleanliness standards.

You will plan and coordinate daily activities, inspect areas for cleanliness and safety, supervise a unionized workforce, assist with onboarding, perform room cleaning, and stand in for the Housekeeping Manager when required. Weekend availability is requested.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Experience managing a work team.
• Available to work weekends.
• Comfortable working in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily housekeeping activities.
• Inspect designated areas for cleanliness, safety, and policies.
• Supervise a unionized workforce.
• Participate in onboarding and integration of new employees.
• Perform room cleaning and upkeep.
• Replace the Housekeeping Manager when required.
