Job description

The Housekeeping Supervisor (Assistant Executive Housekeeper) organizes employee shifts, trains and motivates team members and checks private and public areas for tidiness. This role is for someone that excels at implementing appropriate sanitation regulations, takes pride in providing an outstanding hospitality experience to guests and has demonstrated team management abilities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assign Guest Rooms and Common Areas to Housekeeping staff.
  2. Conduct daily walk-throughs and quality checks to drive cleanliness, productivity, efficiency, exceptional service, and guest satisfaction at all points of contact.
  3. Drive effective communication across the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure consistency, cohesiveness and clear understanding of objectives and priorities.
  4. Issue supplies and equipment as needed and participate in regular inventories to ensure proper supply levels.
  5. Assist and document instances of guest or employee incidents.
  6. Ensure adherence to all company and brand policies, practices, procedures, and guidelines.
  7. Maintain and communicate an up-to-date body of knowledge regarding proper use of and maintenance of laundry equipment, chemical usage, and care of linens.
  8. Make recommendations to meet and exceed company objectives and to enhance service and operational efficiency.
  9. Perform other duties as needed and as directed by management team.

Requirements:

  6. Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high level of care.
