Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport is seeking a Housekeeping Runner to support the housekeeping team with guest requests, laundry, linen delivery, and closet stocking in a busy hotel environment.

The role emphasizes independent work and delivering a positive guest experience, with accommodations available for staff and convenient shuttle access from the bus loop at UBCO.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and staying active.
• Able to reach overhead and below the knee, bend, twist, or stoop as needed.
• Legally permitted to work in Canada without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Responding to guests requests in a timely manner.
• Work well independently.
• Assisting with laundry, washing and delivering linen to the floors.
• Stocking the housekeeping closets with linen, guest supplies and cleaning supplies.
• Assisting other departments when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are also on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel, and are offering shared staff accommodation. Our complimentary shuttle also picks up our employees from the bus loop at UBCO!

What will you be doing?

• Responding to guests requests in a timely manner
• Must be able to work well independently
• Assisting with laundry, washing and delivering linen to the floors
• Stocking the housekeeping closets with linen, guest supplies and cleaning supplies
• Assisting other departments when necessary
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What are we looking for?

• Possess a keen eye for detail
• Self-starter, with time management and organizational skills
• Able to work independently
• Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction
