Job summary

Executive Hotels in Canada is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain impeccable cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas, with a day shift starting at 8:00am. You will work to uphold high standards and contribute to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Push and/or pull equipment required for housekeeping tasks.
• Available to work weekends, holidays and be flexible with shifts.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms overhead during cleaning.
• Able to carry guest supplies up and down stairs.
• High level of enthusiasm and ability to work well in a team.
• Sound practical judgment in decision making.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas in a timely and thorough manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Day shift only. 8:00am starts daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, ready to work and wearing the proper uniform.
• Maintain uniform and grooming standards of cleanliness/tidiness and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform tasks as directed by Executive Housekeeper and/or Assistant Housekeepers daily.
• Have the ability to meet physical demands including; bending, pulling, lifting and stairs.
• Be responsible for working all scheduled shifts.
• Clean all guest rooms to the Executive Hotel standards.
• Possess good communication skills and work well both independently or as a team.

Education Qualifications and Experience

• Ability to push and/or pull equipment and carry supplies
• Available to work weekends, holidays and be flexible to the work schedule
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks
