Job Requirements:

• No formal education or experience required; training provided
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills are an asset
• WHMIS knowledge is an asset
• Ability to interact with guests and staff professionally and tactfully
• Professional appearance and manners

Responsibilities:

• Clean rooms according to Sandman Hotels standards
• Stay informed about chemicals and cleaning procedures
• Respond courteously to guest and staff inquiries and requests
• Record and hand in lost property items
• Report hazards and maintenance issues promptly
• Operate and secure equipment properly
• Report suspicious activities
• Check for left-behind items and trash
• Restock amenities and clean fixtures
• Arrange furniture and ensure guest room security and privacy
• Perform laundry tasks, including sorting, transporting, and folding linens and cloths
• Perform minor repairs as needed
