Job summary

The Wickaninnish Inn, a Relais & Châteaux property on Vancouver Island, is seeking a Housekeeping Leader. You will oversee the housekeeping department, lead by example, and drive the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the Inn's standards.

Responsibilities include managing operations with the Leadership Team, budgeting, and ensuring health, safety, and sustainability practices. Evening and weekend work is required, with a focus on a supportive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years management or leadership experience in the service industry or 4 years in a housekeeping department.
• WHMIS knowledge and/or certification is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial statements, scheduling and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage housekeeping operations alongside the Leadership Team.
• Be a hands-on manager, supporting the team to meet or exceed guest expectations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and quality systems.
