Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Housekeeping, the Laundry Person is primarily responsible for ensuring all linens, towels and company uniforms are cleaned, sorted, folded and stocked appropriately and regularly. Identifies the need for deep cleaning and takes initiative to improve standards. Maintains all laundry equipment and informs their supervisor as to any maintenance needs. Assists Housekeepers with cleaning client rooms and other tasks within the housekeeping department as requested.
This is a 6-month contract to cover a leave.
