St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre Brantford is seeking a Housekeeper to support the housekeeping operation under the Environmental Services IPAC Supervisor. You will work in core and resident home areas, maintaining clean rooms and public spaces in a compassionate long-term care setting.

The role is casual with weekend availability and includes benefits like HOOPP and on-site parking. Prior housekeeping experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular attendance with good record preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in long-term care.
• Physical fitness suitable for manual tasks.
• Adaptable to repetitive work.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies.
• Familiar with Occupational Health and Safety Act and infection control guidelines.

• Clean resident rooms, washrooms, lounges, public areas and nursing stations.
• Dust and mop floors, window ledges, high touch surfaces and vacuum.
• Replenish washroom supplies.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment properly.
• Clean and stock housekeeping unit and closet.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Successful applicants will be involved in a variety of work dutiesrelated to the housekeeping operation working under the supervision of the EnvironmentalServices Supervisor. Housekeepers are required to work in the core and resident homeareas.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & SUCCESS CRITERIA

• Cleaning resident’s rooms; washrooms; lounges; public areas and nursing stations
• Dust and wet mop floors; window ledges; high impact surfaces; vacuuming
• Replenish washroom supplies
• Proper use and maintenance of equipment
• Cleaning and stocking; housekeeping unit and closet
• Other related duties as assigned or as required.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis. Preference will be given to thosecandidates with an excellent attendance record.
• Previous satisfactory work experience in a housekeeping position preferably in longterm care.

• Adaptable to work that involves performing repetitive duties.
• Knowledge of the principles of cleaning procedures, cleaning supplies and theiruses.
