Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for Long-Term Care in Chilliwack to support residents in a fast-paced setting focused on dignity and comfort. You will help create a safe, clean and welcoming home for residents every day.

You will perform thorough cleaning of rooms and common areas, respect privacy, prepare rooms for new residents, and keep supplies and equipment in good order while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent.

You will be a welcomed member of the Long Term Care team at Community, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

How You’ll Succeed

1. Provide Thorough Cleaning
   • Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community
   • Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order
   • Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner
2. Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation
   • Ensure residents' privacy is respected
   • Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming

Who You are:

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent
