Job summary

Creedan Valley Community – Creemore, ON is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to support our Long Term Care residents. You will perform cleaning, sanitizing and room preparation to ensure a safe, comfortable living environment and help residents live with dignity and respect.

In this role you will join a dedicated Long Term Care team, contribute to a welcoming culture, and participate in a range of duties designed to maintain high cleanliness and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• AI screening of applicants may be used by Sienna Senior Living.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough cleaning of resident rooms and common areas.
• Prepare rooms for new residents; maintain privacy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be a welcomed member of the Long Term Care team at Community, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

How You’ll Succeed

1. Provide Thorough Cleaning

Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community

Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order

Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner

2. Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation

Ensure residents’ privacy is respected

Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming

Who You are:

Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent
