Job summary

Trillium Community in Kingston, ON is hiring a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, comfortable living environment for residents in Long Term Care. You’ll build relationships with residents, support their daily lives, and contribute to a welcoming home where dignity and respect are valued.

You’ll perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms and common areas, ensure supplies and equipment are in good order, and protect resident privacy as you prepare rooms for new residents.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada or valid work/study permit.
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Must pass Criminal Records Check where applicable.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

How You’ll Succeed

• Provide Thorough Cleaning
• Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community
• Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order
• Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner
• Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation
• Ensure residents' privacy is respected
• Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming

Who You Are

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent
