Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Aide to support residents at Granite Ridge, Stittsville. You will clean resident rooms and common areas, helping to create a comfortable living environment while building meaningful connections with residents and staff.

In this role you’ll contribute to a safe, welcoming LTC home focused on dignity, respect and quality of life for Canada's seniors. Biweekly 30 hours with a competitive wage under the collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada; valid work/study permit.
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough cleaning of resident rooms and common areas.
• Maintain resident privacy and prepare rooms for new residents.
• Support a safe, clean environment in a long-term care setting.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

How You’ll Succeed

1. Provide Thorough Cleaning

• Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community
• Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order
• Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner

2. Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation

• Ensure residents' privacy is respected
• Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming

Who You are:

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent
