Job summary

Trillium Care Community in Kingston, ON is seeking a Housekeeping Aide (Permanent Part-Time, Days) to maintain a clean and welcoming living environment for residents in a long-term care setting.

You will contribute to the residents’ comfort and dignity, building meaningful relationships and supporting daily routines. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a compassionate approach to care.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit.
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check.
• British Columbia applicants must pass Criminal Records Check.

As a Housekeeping Aide in Long Term Care, you'll do more than simply perform your daily tasks; you'll build impactful relationships with the individuals who consider Trillium Care Community their home. What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be a welcomed member of the Long Term Care team at Community, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

How You’ll Succeed

1. Provide Thorough Cleaning
   
   
   
   • Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community
   
   
   • Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order
   
   
   • Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner
   
   
   
   


2. Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation
   
   
   
   • Ensure residents' privacy is respected
   
   
   • Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming
   
   
   
   

Who You are:

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent
