Job summary

Trillium Care Community in Kingston, ON is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for residents in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or have valid work permit.
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Must pass Criminal Records Check. Applicable to British Columbia applicants.

Responsibilities

• Provide Thorough Cleaning
• Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community
• Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order
• Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner
• Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation
• Ensure residents' privacy is respected
• Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming

As a Housekeeping Aide, you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.
