Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary Long-Term Care residence for residents, visitors, and staff. The role covers a range of housekeeping tasks across dining rooms, floors, and common areas, with an emphasis on hygiene and order.

The candidate will perform cleaning, dusting, and disinfection duties daily, ensuring spaces are welcoming and compliant with safety standards. Public-school education is required, and prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Operates a floor machine to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor, and office floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
