Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary long-term care residence for residents, visitors, and staff. You will perform dining room, bedroom, bathroom, and common area cleaning to ensure a comfortable living environment.

Experience in housekeeping is preferred, and a minimum of public-school education is required. The position offers hourly pay and opportunities for growth within our care team.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors. Operates a floor machine to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor, and office floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.

The Opportunity

The Housekeeper performs a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure that the Long-Term Care residence is maintained in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition for residents, visitors, and other staff members.
