GEF Seniors Housing is seeking a Full-time Night Shift Housekeeper at Beverly Place Lodge in Edmonton, AB. Work hours are 11:30 PM–7:30 AM on a 3-week rotating schedule.

Pay ranges from $19.62 to $23.79 per hour, with duties including cleaning units, common areas, laundry, and stocking supplies to support resident quality of life. Applicants should have strong English communication, customer service, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills required.
• Experience performing commercial housekeeping is an asset.
• Ability to interact respectfully with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident units, bathrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Disinfect surfaces, floor care and laundry tasks.
• Restock supply areas and respond to resident needs and emergencies as required.

Pay Scale

$19.62 - $23.79 per hour

Typical Duties

Cleaning resident units, bathrooms, hallways and common areas, disinfecting, floor care, laundry, and restocking supply areas, dealing with resident issues and emergencies as required and other site-specific duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Preferences

• Strong English communication skills are required, both written and verbal
• Experience performing commercial housekeeping is an asset

• Strong customer service skills including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive people focus
• Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
