Job summary

GEF Seniors Housing in Edmonton is seeking a dedicated night-shift Housekeeper to maintain Beverly Place Lodge and nearby properties. This full-time role offers a 3-week rotating schedule and a consistent 11:30 PM–7:30 AM shift, totaling 37.5 hours per week with competitive pay.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident units, bathrooms, hallways and common areas, disinfecting surfaces, laundry, restocking supplies and addressing resident issues as required.

• Strong English communication is required, both written and verbal.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.

Details: Full Ti me, Nights, 37.50 hours per week, 11:30PM to 7:30AM , 3-week rotating schedule

Schedule:

Pay Scale: $19.62 - $23.79 per hour

Location: Beverly Place Lodge, 4410-117 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5W 4Y9; Virginia Park Lodge , 11033-76 Street, Edmonton AB, T5B 4T2

Typical Duties: Cleaning resident units, bathrooms, hallways and common areas, disinfecting, floor care, laundry, and restocking supply areas, dealing with resident issues and emergencies as required and other site-specific duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Preferences:

• Strong English communication skills are required, both written and verbal
• Experience performing commercial housekeeping is an asset

Other Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive people focus
• Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
