Job summary

Manitoulin Centennial Manor is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Aide to keep the LTC facility clean and well-supplied. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting; successful candidates must be available days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Training and ongoing education are provided within a compassionate, team-based environment. The position offers competitive hourly pay ($23.22–$25.28) and a comprehensive benefits approach.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping / laundry aide experience preferred in LTC Home 0-1 year(s).
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to read and write English as well as understand simple verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
• Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting.
• Successful candidate must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.

• Operate different cleaning machines
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies & PPE distributed on the floor (sanitizer, mask, gloves, etc.)
