Position: Housekeeper (Overnight Shift)
Location: Bolivar Creek Retirement Residence, Surrey, BC
Salary: $21-25/hr

Bolivar Creek Retirement Residence is seeking an overnight Housekeeper and Security personnel to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the common areas of the retirement home and the commercial side of the building.

This role involves working the overnight shift (11:00PM - 7:00AM), during which the employee will monitor CCTV cameras to ensure security. The role also includes acting as an emergency responder, assessing incidents involving residents, and contacting 911 when necessary.

The ideal candidate has relevant experience, enjoys working independently and in a team, is articulate, energetic, and personable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cleaning

• Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the property.
• Vacuum, wet mop, and dry mop floors.
• Clean and disinfect elevators, bathrooms, and dining areas.
• Wipe and dust surfaces in common areas and clean mirrors.
• Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, and furniture.
• Empty trash containers and restock supplies, reporting low inventory or equipment issues to the supervisor.
