Position: Housekeeper (Overnight Shift)

Salary: $21-25/hr

Bolivar Creek Retirement Residence is looking for an overnight Housekeeper and Security to join our team. The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain common areas of the retirement home and the commercial side of the building.

As this is an overnight shift (11:00PM - 7:00AM), this role also entails monitoring CCTV cameras to ensure security overnight. Will also serve as an emergency responder during the shift, assessing any incidents involving residents and contacting 911 when necessary.

The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working both individually and as part of a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.

Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning: Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the property, including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting elevators, bathrooms, and dining areas, wiping surfaces, and emptying trash.
2. Security: Monitor CCTV, identify and report risks, and respond to security issues, including calling emergency services when necessary.
3. Emergency Responder: Respond to resident incidents, assess situations, and call 911 if needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Comfortable working alone overnight

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
