Job summary

Highgate Residence is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to support daily operations. You will perform housekeeping tasks per schedule, manage laundry duties, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness in dining and common areas. The role requires safe chemical handling and the ability to work as part of a team.

A police check is required for eligibility. The position is a full-time opportunity in Canada, with shift-based hours and adherence to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• No allergies to cleaning chemicals.
• Able to use cleaning chemicals, appropriately and safely.
• Able to perform physical work and work as a team player.
• Ability to obtain a valid police check.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties according to Highgate schedules and procedures being mindful of infection control protocols and safe housekeeping practices
• Laundry; properly sort clothes and start the washing machines
• Restock and organize the cart at the end of the shift for next day's use.
• Removing all garbage and dishes
• Serve breakfast and lunch in the dining room
