Job Description

This position is for our Laurier Manor Home, located at 1715 Montreal Rd, Ottawa, Ontario . Available opportunities include : Casual; Days / Evenings and Weekends. Shifts include : Days (6 : 00-14 : 00, 7 : 00-15 : 00, 10 : 00-18 : 00), Evenings (13 : 00-21 : 00), Weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Adhere to policies on infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and mandatory education.
• Collaborate with other departments on tasks like transferring residents, supplies, and maintenance.
• Perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting floors, cleaning walls, windows, and furniture, and waste removal.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, including deep cleaning as needed.
• As a Laundry Aide, operate industrial washing machines and dryers, handle linen, and organize clothing.

• Ability to lift heavy objects, reach, squat, kneel, and work with wet floors and biochemical agents.
