Description: ATCO Frontec is seeking a Housekeeper to support our remote camp in Menihek, NL. The Housekeeper is responsible to maintain cleanliness and hygienic conditions within the camp.

Rotation:

• 12 hour shifts
• Rotation is 14 days on and 14 days off
• Travel days are not paid

Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean and hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen units.
• Make beds, changes sheets, distributes clean towels and toiletries
• Wash, dry, and fold linens and towels
• Assist in laundry as needed
• Dust and vacuum all furniture and draperies
• Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
• Ensure adherence to all government regulations as well as ATCO Frontec Health and Safety, policies and procedures
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset
• 1 or more years of housekeeping experience in the camp or hotel industry is considered an asset
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent people skills
• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment

Final candidates will be required to undergo a criminal record check, drug and alcohol test.
