Job summary

Amenida Residences in Calgary is seeking a casual, on-call Housekeeper to provide laundry and housekeeping services across guest and resident areas.

You will maintain clean and safe workspaces, keep records of supplies, and report any safety issues or building deficiencies to supervision. You may be asked to adapt to varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduation with basic training in Housekeeping.
• A minimum of one years’ experience in a similar position.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide laundry and housekeeping services.
• Maintain work and storage areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
• Keep accurate records of work and supplies.
• Report unsafe or faulty equipment immediately.
• Follow daily tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Identify and report any building deficiencies, and damaged or inoperable furniture, fixtures, or equipment to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, work standards, and safety regulations.
• Report observed changes in tenants’ functional and cognitive behavior that may pose a risk to residents or others.
• Ensure tenant rights, including confidentiality, are respected at all times.
• Interact professionally and courteously with residents, co-workers, and visitors.
• Read and understand relevant departmental and interdepartmental communications.
• Complete other related duties as requested by the Manager.
• Be prepared to respond to and assist in emergency situations.

We have three shifts, (8am - 4:30pm & 3pm - 11:30pm & 11:15pm to 7:15am). No guarantee of hours per week

$15.50/hr

Your Day To Day

What You Bring To The Table
