Job summary

Banff International Hostel is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to perform daily cleaning duties at our on-site location in Banff, Canada. You will dust, vacuum, wash floors, change linens, replenish towels and toiletries, and ensure common areas are tidy and welcoming for guests.

Experience of 1 to less than 7 months is noted, with on-site work required. You will also handle basic guest inquiries, report maintenance needs, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring high standards of

Qualifications

• English language proficiency.
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Provide basic information on facilities.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
• Clean changing rooms and showers.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
