Job summary

Aspira Kingsmere Retirement Residence in Alliston is seeking a Housekeeper on a permanent, full-time basis. The role pays CAD 18.43 per hour, with a Monday to Friday 8:30am–4:30pm schedule, and a focus on creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

You will work as part of the Sienna Senior Living team, delivering compassionate daily care, maintaining privacy, and supporting residents’ comfort and dignity in a homelike setting.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
• Sienna may utilize AI screening for applicants.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in residents' rooms, bathrooms and common areas as scheduled.
• Ensure spaces are clean, welcoming and tour-ready for new occupants.
• Maintain privacy and professionalism in occupied living spaces.
• Support residents' quality of life with compassionate, dependable service.

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces

• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members

What You Need To Know

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
