Qualifications

Job description

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for sales and hospitality? We are seeking a dynamic Hotel Sales Executive to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our hotel. Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Sales and Catering Manager, the Hotel Sales is responsible but not limited to building a strong relationship with hotel partners, maximizing revenue, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the hotel industry, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities and proactively pursue partnerships with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as catering, marketing, and operations to ensure smooth account management and effective implementation of strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing structures, contracts, and terms of agreements with clients to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and develop a deep understanding and ability of the client’s business to better address client needs during negotiations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competition activities
  • Monitor revenue performance and take proactive measures to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and stay abreast of industry updates.

  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with current, past clients and internal teams

  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education, Qualification and Requirements


  • University or college diploma or degree in Business Administration or Hotel Management preferred

  • 2 or more years of proven experience as Sales Executive or similar roles within the Hotel Industry

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

  • A high level of selling skills to source out, pursue, and close sales with new customers in a variety of markets.

  • Ability and flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

  • Capable of creating and maintaining a large client network

  • Proficiency in using Delphi software and other relevant sales and marketing tools.

  • Strong customer service, organization, presentation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills;

  • Strong time management and multitasking skills

  • Clear Criminal Record Check upon hiring

Work Environment


  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time;

  • Ability to work on a computer for an extended period.

  • Repetitive work such as keyboarding, filing, answering phones, etc.

  • Forward bending and squatting while performing filing duties.

  • Ability to walk around the hotel from department to department.

  • May be required to lift boxes up to 10 (ten) pounds when handling paper or files.
