Sandman Hotel Group in Calgary West seeks a friendly Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our local team. You will clean rooms to Sandman standards, handle laundry, stock amenities, and support guest satisfaction with courteous service. Training is provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• No education or experience required; we will train one-on-one.
• Ability to follow instruction.
• Good communication skills are an asset.
• WHMIS is an asset.
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
• Professional appearance and manners.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms to Sandman Hotels standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cleaning chemicals and products and their handling procedures.
• Respond to guest and staff inquiries, requests and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Record and return all lost property to the Supervisor/Manager at shift end.
• Report maintenance and safety hazards to minimize risk.
• Operate and secure equipment responsibly.
• Report unusual or suspicious activity to management.
• Perform laundry tasks and manage linen as needed.
• Stock linens and replenish amenities.
