Hotel Equities is seeking a friendly Housekeeper for the TownePlace Suites in Medicine Hat, AB. The role focuses on maintaining clean guest rooms and public areas, delivering exceptional service, and supporting operations to meet goals.

Responsibilities include cleaning tasks, reporting issues, assisting with deep cleaning, and ensuring safety with proper chemical handling. Flexible hours including weekends are required to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and hotel cleanliness standards.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and courteous guest-service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replenish supplies, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
• Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance concerns and report issues promptly.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and special housekeeping needs.
• Handle guest belongings and hotel property responsibly and according to company procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and work areas in an organized condition.
• Follow proper chemical handling, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned.
• Communicate room status and maintenance needs to appropriate hotel departments.
• Support the team in meeting productivity, quality, and guest satisfaction standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
