Job summary

Germain Hotels is seeking a Chef to lead the culinary experience across all hotel dining venues, including banquets and the restaurant. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Director, you will guide the brigade with vision, consistency, and rigor to deliver exceptional hospitality across multiple service points.

You will drive excellence in menu planning, training, and performance management while collaborating with hotel leadership to ensure quality and profitable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to plan and organize events with time management and detail.
• Strong knowledge of diverse dining standards across restaurant and event environments.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; capable of mobilizing a team.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach, and lead the kitchen brigade and stewarding team.
• Plan schedules and allocate work according to needs while maintaining productivity and budget.
• Oversee banquet event orders for meetings and events.
• Manage purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory, and product quality.
