Job summary

Canada Homestay Network Society is seeking a Host Ambassador for a permanent part-time role (up to 20 hours per week) to qualify new and existing host families and ensure care standards are met. The position is hybrid with in-person work in the Red Deer region and nearby areas.

Compensation is an hourly wage between CAD 18.00 and CAD 20.00. Applicants must clear a Criminal Record Check and have a valid driver’s license with adequate auto insurance, plus a mobile phone, a camera, and high-speed

Qualifications

• Excellent sales and interpersonal skills with the willingness and ability to promote the CHN Host program.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and build relationships with local communities.
• Knowledge of CHN policies and procedures.
• Understanding of international students and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews/visits at host homes to assess room and environment.
• Email data and supporting documentation (criminal record checks, host agreements) per CHN protocols.
