Job summary

Earls Kitchen + Bar in Vancouver is seeking welcoming Hosts to set the tone at the front door, ensuring guests are greeted and seated to support world class service. You will help create a smooth flow for the dining room and work with service teams using guest interaction technologies.

You will build authentic connections with guests, stay flexible, and contribute as a team player who can multi-task and take initiative. Flexible scheduling and development programs are part of the role.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for welcoming Hosts to enhance our front door team. As a Host, you set the tone for every guest experience, from the first hello to the last goodbye. To put it simply, the restaurant wouldn’t run smoothly without you!

As a Host, you will:

• Create and maintain the flow of the restaurant. Create and maintain the flow of guests into the restaurant to ensure our Culinary team and servers can deliver world class service.
• Work with technology to enhance the guest experience. Support the service team using guest interaction technologies including Skip the Dishes, DoorDash,OpenTable and more.
• Create authentic connections in every interaction. Elevate the guest experience through fun, engaging and meaningful conversations with guests.
• Be a problem solver and a supportive team player. Tackle problems by using your multi-tasking and communication skills, and be empowered to make decisions for you and your team members.

• A passion and commitment to hospitality, teamwork, fun and the guest experience.
• A commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging experience for your team members and guests.
• A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
• The ability to legally work in Canada.
