Job summary

Earls Kitchen + Bar in Toronto is seeking friendly Hosts to welcome guests at the door and set the tone for every dining experience.

You will manage the flow of guests, assist the service team with guest interactions using platforms like OpenTable and delivery apps, and engage guests with warm conversations to enhance their visit. This role offers growth through mentorship and in-house training.

Job description

We are looking for welcoming Hosts to enhance our front door team. As a Host, you set the tone for every guest experience, from the first hello to the last goodbye. To put it simply, the restaurant wouldn’t run smoothly without you!

As a Host, you will:

• Create and maintain the flow of the restaurant. Create and maintain the flow of guests into the restaurant to ensure our Culinary team and servers can deliver world class service.


• Work with technology to enhance the guest experience. Support the service team using guest interaction technologies including Skip the Dishes, DoorDash,OpenTable and more.


• Create authentic connections in every interaction. Elevate the guest experience through fun, engaging and meaningful conversations with guests.


• Be a problem solver and a supportive team player. Tackle problems by using your multi-tasking and communication skills, and be empowered to make decisions for you and your team members.
