Job summary

Boston Pizza is seeking a friendly Host/Greeter to welcome guests with a smile and manage seating in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will coordinate with team members to provide an exceptional dining experience and help guests feel valued from the moment they arrive.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality or customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor in line with our Brand Standards.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or customer service experience is helpful.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them accordingly, coordinating with team members to accommodate seating needs.
• Provide excellent guest service and acknowledge guests for their visit in a professional, sincere manner.
• Assist guests by answering questions and directing them to the right tables or areas.
• Lead by example, collaborate with teammates, and maintain a positive, respectful work environment.
• Strive to uphold Foundations of Hospitality and Boston Pizza Brand Standards at all times.

Host

Hosts play the important role of being the first impression of the restaurant to our Guests. Smiling, and with an upbeat attitude, they ensure that our guests are seated based on their needs and the situation. They are responsible for acknowledging and thanking each and every Guest for their visit in a professional, sincere and friendly manner in person or by phone. They also coordinate with team members about available seating options and escort Guests to the right table and area.

The Host/Greeter is accountable for ensuring that our most important people, our Guests, have an excellent Boston Pizza experience from start to finish. They demonstrate and believe in championing a fun and safe work environment and contribute to a thriving workplace culture.
