AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Hospitality Worker to perform daily cleaning duties across resident suites, restrooms, lounges and offices. You will operate cleaning equipment, follow schedules, and report maintenance and safety issues to the Hospitality Manager.

Preference given to those with healthcare or retirement setting experience; WHMIS training is a plus and English fluency is required for effective communication within the team.

The Hospitality Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the Hospitality Manager.What Is In It For You:Completes routine cleaning duties as assigned including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting of resident suites, restrooms, showers, nursing stations, lounges, offices, and other areas as assigned.Dusts, cleans, and polishes furniture, cabinets, lamps/light fixtures, wall vents, handrails, baseboards, blinds etc. in resident suites, public areas and offices as assigned.Cleans windows and spot washes walls per routine task checklist.Removes trash from suites, public areas, offices and ensures disposal is in accordance with company protocol.Shampoos carpeted areas as requested.Washes resident bathmats as required.Cleans and polishes fireplace glass.Cleans inside and outside of washers/dryers, empties lint traps at least daily.Uses duty checklist daily and returns to Supervisor for review.Operates housekeeping equipment and implements as required.What You Will Need:High school diploma is preferred.WHIMIS training is an asset.Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.Previous experience in a Healthcare or Retirement setting is preferred.Experience with industrial vacuum, scrubber, floor polisher and other related equipment is preferred.Work Location : Age Care, Monashee MewsAddress : 2165 Norris Avenue, Lumby V0E 2G0FTE : 1.00Employment Type : Full TimeInternal Closing Date :: Nov 03, 2026Hours of Work :: 0800 - 1600 (5On - 2Off)Approximate Start Date :: Nov 13, 2026Members of Equity Seeking groups are encouraged to apply.Union Membership is a condition of employmentWage Levelling Salary: $18.62 per hour
