Job summary

Hotel Arts Group is seeking a hands-on HVAC/Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering & Facilities Team. You will maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and other building systems to ensure guest comfort and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Building Operator Certificate or equivalent building operations training.
• 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certification is an asset.
• Trade certification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry is an asset.
• WHMIS, First Aid and Fall Protection certifications are assets.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and monitor equipment.
• Coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
• Complete building rounds, respond to requests, maintain workspaces, manage inventory.
• Operate fire panels and support emergency response while minimizing guest disruption.
