Job summary

Great-Canadian-Entertainment-2 is seeking a diligent dishwasher to support a fast-paced casino resort kitchen in Richmond. You will maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment and utensils, and help ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.

The role involves loading and washing dishes, assisting with stock and food prep, and collaborating with operations to support guests and team members in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Minimum 6 months of work experience
• Ability to successfully clear a criminal record check
• Ability to exceed internal customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication

Responsibilities

• Organizes, rinses, sprays and loads dishwasher; washes by hand if necessary
• Examines completed loads for cleanliness; re-washes if necessary
• Reports any malfunctions, breakage or discrepancies to the appropriate manager
• Stores all clean items in the appropriate area
• Sorts and removes garbage and recycling
• Cleans all general kitchen areas including floors, counters and workspaces; may clean general or common areas in some locations
• Assists with the receipt of goods into the work area; stock shelves
• Prepares some food products as requested
• Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team members
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed
