Job summary
Grey Eagle Resort & Casino is hiring a Casino Dishwasher to maintain sanitary conditions in the food services area and support high-volume kitchen operations. You will clean and sanitize dishware, pots, and utensils, operate dishwashing machinery, and ensure proper storage of clean items.
The role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and complying with OHSA and casino safety policies. Training is provided, and the position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of foodservice establishments and the requirements and expectations of this position.
- Previous experience would be an asset, however training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishware, pots, pans, and utensils daily.
- Operate commercial dishwashing and sanitation machines.
- Pre-wash dishes and pre-scrub before machine.
- Store cleaned items properly for easy access.
- Maintain sanitary kitchen and follow OHSA and safety policies.
- Sweep, mop, wipe counters, and manage trash.
- Stand for long shifts and lift heavy items.
- Maintain positive workplace relationships with staff.
- Comply with all governing regulations.
