Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority in Inverness is seeking a Utility Worker in FMS Environmental Services ICH. Reporting to the Supervisor, Facility Support Services, you will perform general cleaning and disinfecting to maintain a sanitary environment across assigned areas, with respect for patients, visitors and staff.

Casual relief position (3%) x 5, with shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Competencies in other languages are assets; French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed.
• Performs general repetitive cleaning tasks following established standards.
• Assists and participates in on-the-job training and safety programs.
